Great post, me personally i've always been comfortable in my skin. I was never uncomfy with having a full figured shape , I was never afraid of my hair texture (yes i do wear weaves on occasion but for hair adorning & styling not trying to be like someone else.) I've just always been comfy, I think it's important for black women to just ignore what others say about us, because if we haven't noticed already, people of other races will say rude things about our features or body but then will turn around and try to mimic it themselves (and will do anything to accomplish it, they've been doing this for centuries.
