Interruption

Sorry folks, but I had to interrupt or postpone 7 Days, 7 Interviews today because it was my little sister's 12th birthday. Myself, my sister, my mom, my cousin, and my granny high tailed it to Sandusky, Ohio for Cedar Point. If you're from the Midwest then you most likely know what it is. If you don't know, it's an amusement park that's better than Six Flags. Today was my first time stepping foot back in Cedar Point after about 12 years. Yes, it's been that long. I already knew that I couldn't really handle rides anymore because of a few trips to local carnivals but, oh boy did that get re-confirmed today. Let's just say that I only got on 4 rides. Mind you we arrived at Cedar Point before they were even open (approximately 9:15 AM) and left at about 6:30pm. So for about 9 hours all I did was get on 4 rides, which were The Rapture, The Pirate Ship (that's at every carnival), Snake River Falls, and Thunder Something (these were both harmless water rides). It was hot as hell so I got on Snake River Falls about 6 times until it almost made me sick. My riding adventures came to a complete halt around 2:30pm. I was frankly ready to dip it back to Detroit and get in my bed. I walked around Cedar Point soaked as hell from repeatedly getting on the water ride. It took me forever to dry because of the repeated sittings in the shade. Meanwhile, my 73 year old grandmother who has cancer and emphysema was accompanying my little sister on every crazy ass ride there was because myself, my cousin, and my mom were too chicken to get on these rides. It was hilarious and unbelievable. To top it off my Granny didn't even scream. She got off almost every ride saying " That wasn't nothing". Straight up, my Granny is a G. To make a long story short. As soon as I got back in the car to head back home I felt as if I was going to puke from the 4 little baby rides that I got on. Then when I arrived home by legs were killing me with all types of cramps and aches and pains. So, I called my Granny up to check on her and see if she was in such pain like I was. She told me NO. It's crazy because as of now my legs are still in pain. Unfortunately my super hot bath with epsom salt didn't do a thing. At the end of the day even though I think I have officially retired from theme and amusement parks it was great to see my grandmother have so much fun as well as my little sister. So, I'm happy and about to go to bed because I'm trumped.
